College Transition Programs
These programs help students make a successful transition from high school to college, as well as facilitate academic and social adjustment to Virginia Tech.

Learning Assistance Programs
These programs help students who want to improve their academic skills like time management, test taking, reading comprehension, etc.

The Center for Academic Enrichment and Excellence administers the Nelson-Denny Reading Assessment to help students evaluate their vocabulary level, reading
comprehension level and reading rate. |

| Request for Academic Support Seminar | CAEE staff are available to present workshops throughout the week during standard office hours. With adequate notice, CAEE staff may be available to present workshops outside of standard work hours (evenings, weekend, residence halls, and student organization meetings). | ||
| Study Space and the Reading Day Study Retreat | CAEE has space available for a quiet place to study. You can come in Monday-Friday from 8:00 AM to 12:00 noon and use our tutoring area on a walk-in basis. There are computers available or you can bring your own — Femoyer is a wireless building! We also host a Reading Day Study Retreat each semester. Space is limited so registration is required. Click here to register. |
