Transfer Students' Seminar Series

  • Eligibility

    All new undergraduate transfer students may participate in this program.

  • Description

    The Transfer Students' Seminar Series (TS3) is a special program designed to assist undergraduate transfer students learn what they need to know to continue their success at Virginia Tech. A team of former transfer students, faculty, and staff will provide a network of support and information. Transfer students can attend one, several, or all of the free seminars in the semester-long series. Attendees will have an opportunity to join a listserv for transfer students so they can access continuous support throughout the semester. This is a great way to network with other new and experienced transfer students and learn about the many resources available to VT students. The first seminar will be a luncheon (see below).

  • Dates

  • The Transfer Student Organization (TSO) Social is an opportunity to meet and socialize with other transfer students to Virginia Tech. TSO will also have their first meeting of the school year during the social as well. I hope that everyone will be able to join us! The Transfer Student Organization Social and Meeting will be held on Tuesday, August 28 from 6:00-9:00 pm in the Graduate Life Center Multipurpose Room. Click here to reigster

    You may register to attend the above events by using the online registration form.You will receive email confirmation approximately one week before the event. In the event that there are not enough participants registered for the event, you will receive a cancellation notice.
