Room Reservations

• Rooms Available :
  1. CAEE Classroom - seats 30. The room contains tables, chairs, a whiteboard and a projector screen.
  2. CAEE Conference Room - seats 8. The room contains a conference table, chairs, a whiteboard and projector screen.
• Hours and Use:
  Regular CAEE hours are Monday-Friday, 7:30 a.m.- 5:00 p.m. Requests for reservations outside of CAEE's regular operating hours will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. A CAEE staff person will be required to help external guests gain entry to the CAEE suite. Due to the high volume of student traffic, only non-intrusive programs and meetings will be approved in CAEE suite.
  
  
• Set-Up/ Clean-Up Guidelines
  The CAEE classroom and conference room are self-service facilities. Neither CAEE staff or building custodians will be responsible for set up or clean up of group activities. We recommend arriving early to arrange the space for your activity. After your activity, please attend to the following:
  • Miscellaneous Trash: Please check for papers, empty containers, and all trash and throw them out before you leave.
  • Left-Over Food: Please do not leave food from your activity.
  • Overflowing garbage cans: Please do not leave overflowing or food filled garbage cans in the suite. Please tie up garbage bags and place them in the main hallway for pick up.
  • Furniture: Please return all furniture to its original position. Please open the partition in the classroom if used.
  • Carpet: Please do not leave spills or crumbs on the carpet where they can dry up or get trampled by others.
    
    Remember, you should leave our rooms just as clean as you found them.
    
    
• Supervision and Responsibility:
  The responsible party present during the activity will be held responsible for supervising participants and ensuring that CAEE and Virginia Tech policies and procedures are followed. The responsible party agrees to assume financial responsibility for repair and/or replacement of CAEE property damaged during their activity.
